Van Transportation

Van Transportation is available if given preferred 24-hour advance notice. We accept requests and messages left by 10 AM of the day of needed transportation   Please note, van seating is limited and is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Call the Community Wellness center at (732) 317-2920 to check for both availability and to make a reservation.

Van Rules
  • Members must schedule their pickup 24-hours in advance.
  • Members must cancel their transportation 24-hours in advance, or as soon as possible.
  • Scheduling or cancellations must be made by leaving a voice mail message on the community wellness center's phone (732-317-2920).
  • Members are not allowed to eat or drink in the van.
  • The radio station or CD played is the sole discretion of the van driver.
  • Front seat occupancy is determined by the van driver.
  • Noise levels in the van should be kept to a dull roar so as to not interfere with the driver's ability to drive.
Transportation Rules
  • Each member is responsible to notify the Center (as above in Van Rules) 24-hours in advance if they are unable to come to the center. Each member should notify the Center as soon as possible and provide the reason for cancellation in the event of a sudden illness, family emergency, etc.
  • Each member is responsible to notify the Center 24-hours in advance if they expect to come to the center and their van transportation has not been previously arranged.
  • Each member is responsible for knowing the center schedule and what events they have signed up for. The member  will not receive reminder calls,  as this is each member's responsibility.
  • Failure to comply with these rules will result in the following consequences:
    • Failure to cancel before 10AM the day for arranged transportation (or 24 hours before a scheduled event outside the Center)   It is a pass, If this is repeated again - The next time you would like to come to the center, you will not be provided with transportation to the center. You may come to the center if you find your way to and from the center.
    • Failure to cancel before 10AM the day for arranged transportation (or 24 hours before a scheduled event outside the Center)   After the first two times - No transportation will be provided until you come in and meet with the leadership team.
  • If the Van arrives as scheduled to pick you up and you do not accept the transportation 2 times without notification or cancellation as stated above - we cannot pick you up until you speak with the manager and van driver.
